The donation is a two-day stay for two people valued at $1,100. The Henry's Fork Lodge is one of the finest lodges in the United States built specifically with the flyfisher in mind.
19. Different of Abaco has donated a seven-night/six-day stay for one angler, provided that the winner brings along a paying guest. Since our report on Different of Abaco, the suites at the Sea Shell Beach Club have been air-conditioned and there is a full-time massage therapist on the premises. Fishing is done on a stretch of the famous "Marls," where only guests have access. Our report of Different of Abaco appeared in Volume VIII, #6, November 1999. The value of this donation is $2,267.

20. Kiene’s Fly Shop in Sacramento, California has donated a day of guided fishing for two anglers on either the American River, Yuba River or Putah Creek. The value of this donation is $285. A report on the American River will appear in the March issue.

21. Henrys Fork Anglers in Last Chance, Idaho, has donated one-day of guiding on the Henry’s Fork of the Snake, one-day of guiding on the South Fork of the Snake, plus one-night lodging at the South Fork Lodge. Our reports on the Henry’s Fork and the South Fork appeared in Volume II, #6, November 1993 and Volume VI, #5, September 1999, respectively. Since our report on the South Fork of the Snake, the South Fork Lodge has gone through extensive changes. The old structure was razed and a first-class facility with rooms, restaurant and detached cabins were newly constructed. The new South Fork Lodge is destined to be one of the premier lodges in the West. The total value of this donation is $1,300. "The Inside Angler" may take the option to include the donated guided trip on the Henry’s Fork and combine it with the donation from Henry’s Fork Lodge. Mike Lawson, one of the most noted anglers in the West, will be representing Henrys Fork Anglers and the South Fork Lodge at the Party.

22. Broken Arrow Lodge, located on the upper Ruby River in Montana, has donated a five-day/five-night stay for two anglers, which include meals, lodging and private access to the Ruby River. A report on the upper Ruby River appeared in Volume IX, #3, May 2000. Some of the largest trout in the drainage are found upstream from the lodge. The upper Ruby has been the site of a reintroduction program for Montana grayling. The value of this donation is $1,000.

23. Terry Gunn & Wendy Hanvold of Lee’s Ferry Anglers have donated a day of guided fishing for two anglers on the Colorado River at Lee’s Ferry below Glen Canyon Dam. A report on Lee’s Ferry appeared in Volume I, #5, September 1992. The value of this donation is $300.

24. Wolf Creek Lodge is located above the Wolf Creek Bridge on the Missouri River below Holter Dam in Montana. It is a luxury three bedroom home offering the finest accommodations on what is presently one of the finest dry fly streams in the West. The lodge was featured in our two-part update report on the Missouri in Volume IX, #1 and #2, January and March 2000. This donation is for a one-night stay valued at $450.

25. Jack Trout has again donated guided wade fishing for two anglers, and the McCloud Hotel in McCloud has again donated a night of lodging. Our report mentioning Jack appeared in Volume V, #2, March 1996 and the McCloud Hotel was mention in our report on the McCloud River in Volume IV, #5, September 1995. This donation is valued $325.

26. The Big K Guest Ranch, located on the Lower Umpqua River in Oregon, has donated a 2-night stay, including meals, and guided float fishing for one angler. A second angler can join the winner for $428. Our report on the Big K, where there is some of the best smallmouth fishing in the West, appeared in Volume IX, #2, March 2000. This donation is valued at $750.


These donations have been posted in the order in which they were received. They do not correspond to the way they are numbered on the Raffle Tickets. When selecting a donated item, use the number on the Raffle Tickets. Party Packets, containing Raffle Tickets, will be mailed to all subscribers shortly.

As previously noted, late donations may be received and we have accepted two. They do not appear on the Raffle Tickets and as a result, can only be won by someone attending the Party.

Mike Costello of Pacific Adventures has donated a day of guided fishing on the Sacramento/San Joaquin Delta or a local trout stream. Mike was mentioned in our report on Discovery Bay in Volume VII, Number 4, July 1998. The value of this donation is $300.

Ed Miranda of Ed Miranda’s Guide Service guides anglers on the Williamson River, Agency Lake and Klamath Lake. He has donated a day of guided fishing on waters that produce some of the largest, wild rainbows in the western United States plus a night’s lodging in a housekeeping cabin. We mentioned Ed in our report on the Williamson River that appeared in Volume VIII, #2, March 1999. The value of this donation is $370.

As we have done in the past, we may combine some of the donations, such as the stay at Wolf Creek Lodge with the guided fishing by Missouri River Expeditions. Also, each year, we receive donations that arrive after the Raffle Tickets go to press. If we receive such donations, they will be posted here and will be won by someone attending the Party. They will be received too late to appear on the Raffle Tickets.
